Aardflex Beta Testing Checklist

Work through these flows and edge cases during the beta and tick items off as you go.

Core Flows

Install the app for the first time and complete the onboarding flow end-to-end
Confirm the featured wallpaper templates are shown and tappable during onboarding
Verify onboarding does not appear again after it has been completed

Create a new wallpaper from a template (tap a template card, confirm it opens the editor)
Edit the wallpaper XML in the editor and save changes
Preview the wallpaper in the config/preview screen
Set the wallpaper as a live wallpaper on the home screen
Verify the live wallpaper renders correctly on the home screen after setting

Export a wallpaper and share it via the system share sheet
Import a shared wallpaper (open a .aardflex / shared file from Files or a message)
Confirm the imported wallpaper appears in your wallpaper list

Invalid XML: Enter malformed XML in the editor — does it show a clear error message?
Delete active wallpaper: Set a wallpaper as live, then delete it from the list — what happens on the home screen?
Rotation while editing: Rotate the device while the editor is open — does the editor state persist?
Background with unsaved changes: Press Home while editing without saving — are unsaved changes handled gracefully (warning dialog or auto-save)?
Low storage: If possible, test on a device with less than 500 MB of free storage — does the app behave gracefully?

Please include the following in every feedback submission:

The more detail you include in feedback, the faster we can fix issues.
Screenshots and screen recordings are very welcome.
If the app crashes, tap Send Crash Report in the crash dialog (or it may send automatically).
There is no such thing as a “too small” issue — cosmetic and wording problems are useful too.
